A Deep Connection to Ukraine The Talis family left Ukraine 35 years ago, building a new life in the United States. Over the years, they amassed a collection of porcelain decanters, which became a cherished hobby. However, the war in Ukraine has shifted their focus, giving their collection a new purpose. In Odessa, the conflict has left 8,500 children without parents over the past three years, creating a dire need for support. These orphans face immense challenges, and the Talis family felt compelled to act. Turning a Collection into a Lifeline Now, Michael and Galina are selling their porcelain decanters at a space in the Mart Antique Mall, located at 6505 Mission Gorge Rd., San Diego, CA. This antique mall, part of the Consignment Classics family, is known for its 21,000 square feet of independent vintage shops, offering a diverse range of treasures for collectors and enthusiasts. The Talis family’s decanters are part of this vibrant marketplace, and every purchase directly contributes to aiding the orphans in Odessa. The couple emphasizes the collective impact of these efforts, stating, “Together, we can make a difference.” A Message of Gratitude and Hope The Talis family expresses heartfelt gratitude to those who support their cause, noting, “Thank you for your kindness and support!” They also highlight a quote attributed to Kathy Calvin: “Giving is not just about making a donation.
